CO-OP EXPERIENCE
Hasbro Toy Group, Cincinnati, Ohio
- Small Soldiers
/Space Brats / Jurassic Park:
Winter / Summer
1998
- Designed and developed mechanisms and layout for the Crossbow Archer
action figure for the movie Small Soldiers, using AutoCad lite 2 and AutoCad
13. Finished other action figures for that same movie. Introduced to model
shop tools and techniques. Designed Hextar Vigar and Ryle; figures for
the TV show Space Brats.
- Batman / Transformers:
Summer 1997
- Finished layouts for two action figures, Thermal - Shield Batman and
Battle - Board Batman. Designed the layout for the Lava Fury Batman action
figure. Also designed the vehicle, Nightwing’s Waterwing.
- Girls Toys - Large Dolls:
Winter 1997
- Finished layout in AutoCad 13. Developed new toy concepts and mechanisms
for future toys, like the hamburger in the Happy Meal Girl doll. Assembled
various toys to help out other groups.
- XRC – Radio controlled Cars:
Summer
1996
- Developed and designed the SSP Harley Davidson and Lead Sled using
AutoCad 12, from concept drawings to layout and part drawings. Worked closely
with the model shop to develop toy models.
- Nerf:
Winter 1996
- Drew part drawings using AutoCad 12 for the Laser-fang and Razor Fin.
Assembled and helped re-design various Nerf toys; like Preceptor, Defender
T-1, and Strong-Arm.
WORK EXPERIENCE
University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio:
- Electronic Classroom Support Services
- Repair and clean audio / visual equipment. Also worked with Tele –
conference equipment and computer programs.
ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS
Collect toys, comics,
and Medieval weapons. Also collect
and rebuild arcade games. Member of
Society of Women Engineers for the
last 4 years. Vice-president of the University of Cincinnati Anima Club.
Mentor of female, freshmen engineering student. Design action figures on
AutoCad 14, for class credit.
